Suki and I finally got to taste an indigo rose tomato. Last time they were starting to ripen deer got into our yard and ate almost all of them. The flavour is definitely tomato-like, but also unique in a hard to describe way.
We enjoyed one of the last warm beach days.
There were two turkey vultures at the beach that, from afar, we mistook for eagles until I noticed the bright red heads. One of these days I’ll get a better picture of one, but for now here’s the first turkey vulture photo.
I found a ladybug on my bean plants. If you look closely it’s munching on something.
It’s not artsy, but here’s a sneak peak at our latest project that we’re rushing to finish before the rain starts. I’m not going to say what it is though.
Suki has been “helping” a lot with this project.
I might be using the word helping a bit generously.
That’s okay though. It’s worth the extra work because seeing her happy makes me happy.
