A Week of Photos

My tiniest chicken loves being given attention, and this week she progressed from being held in my hand to being willing to sit on my lap for pets.

And a video of her, because she’s so cute.

And the forest.

She makes a lot of funny faces when she’s excited.

"What do you mean it's time to go home?"

“What do you mean it’s time to go home?”

And a lot of cute ones too.

I tried moving the Barnevelder into the d’Anvers’ coop. No one was impressed.

"You expect me to fit in here?"

“You expect me to fit in here?”

15.03.10In the rooster’s defense, he’s giving her that look because she was going after the d’Anvers hens. I ended up moving her back into the big coop when she started bullying the other hens off the roosting bar.

  1. That first little hen is so pretty. The barnevelder has such a pretty pattern on her feathers, too. I’m impressed with how many beautiful varieties of chickens that exist.

    Have a great day!
