Seeing as how I am down to just a few days worth of kibble, I should probably update this blog. Once Suki’s current kibble runs out, I’ll be introducing her to meals cooked in my own kitchen! I’ve never been entirely happy with kibble, so I’ve finally decided to stop procrastinating and just try it. The book Dinner Pawsible by Dr. Cathy Alinovi DVM was recommended to me, but after being unable to find that I ended up purchasing Feed Your Best Friend Better by Rick Woodford instead. If I come across Dinner Pawsible while out and about, I’ll pick that up as well to expand my canine cuisine.
Woodford recommends feeding kibble in addition to the fresh food to ensure all vitamins and minerals are being met. At least to begin with I’ll be following this advice and feeding kibble in the morning.
I’ll be making a few changes to Suki diet aside from the fresh vs. processed, which I’ll expand on in the next post.
